Some Little Talk of Me and Thee Framed Canvas Replica Painting: Medium
By artist Harry Willson Watrous (1857-1940), in a Private Collection
Sale price: $399.00
A vintage snapshot of a very fascinating discussion, American painter Harry Willson Watrous, who trained in France, captures two fashionable young women having a captivating chat. Best known for his series of paintings of sophisticated, liberated turn-of-the-century women, Watrous portrayed his transitional models, from Victorian to Modern times, as dapperly outfitted in dark clothing and usually portrayed in profile. This painting was also featured as a cover for The Ladies’ Home Journal, in March 1911. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work’s texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand exclusively for Design Toscano. Our replica 4.375″-wide, European-style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image.

Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.
